Pure Pop pullover is my Ziggurat homage to Britt-Marie Christoffersson, founder-member of the bold and zeitgeisty 10-Gruppen (Ten Swedish Designers) of the 1970s.
The stitch pattern is from Christoffersson’s book, Pop Knitting.
Swatching to see what combination of colours delivers the best ‘pop’ is part of the fun (download the free colouring sheets!). The normal Ziggurat construction is in play but this is a 3-row pattern, so there is some mysterious sliding back and forth of all stitches to get the single row to where it needs to be before you start knitting in the round.
