Vandretur

Vandretur (’ramble’) is the cosy yet stylish DK-weight sister to Cykeltur (aran weight). Like Cykeltur it’s perfect for long walks in bright woods and across moody moors, or for the market shop, balancing bags on your bike – in more clement weather.
This is one of 12 designs in the Jubilæum Collection, celebrating 10 years of Ziggurating and design – Vandretur is the Ziggurat half of Chapter 5, completing the collection.
The yarn, Jensen Yarn by Isager, is an honest Danish yarn with both loft and comfort and tweedy – I buy mine from Tante Grøn CPH.
The split hem is hip-friendly, a split collar fans out across one shoulder. Domed turned-up cuffs are just for fun but will also keep your wrists snug and warm.

There is some (optional) shaping but the general fit is relaxed.
- Everything (except the collar) is knitted in one go, top to bottom
- No seaming
- Sleeves are knitted in the round from cap to cuff
- Optional bust dart
- Split collar
