the jog
Aiming for a jogless stripe.
This method works for any striping in the round, and
particularly well with the faux-seam cap stitches for the
Åsa Tricosa patterns Stripes Ahoy!, Strrripes and Bajads.
1. Knit one complete round with new colour
2. Lift right leg of old-colour stitch below next stitch
(first stitch of new colour) and place on Left Needle
3. Knit the lifted leg together with first stitch
Done!
The arrow points to the jogged stitch.

Thank you!
Just what I needed. I find text + photos format SO much better than having to sit through videos.
I’m about to use up free yarn and odd ends making hats for charity, and they will be so much more elegant with no jogs.
Exactly what I need. Have watched several videos, but with these photos and easy to follow directions I can proceed as slow or fast as needed! Thank you so much!
