simsala bim!
Simsala & bim are quickly knitted in any DK yarn, from the top down to the cuff.
There are stripes or little squares or both. A thumb gusset makes for a nice fit.

I used Drops Karisma for the grey/orange/red mittens, GGH Baby Alpaka for the cream/green mittens, and Wollmeise Merino DK for the pppppink & grrrreeen mitten and mitt. The alpaka mittens are so very soft. I think I may have to knit a pair of mitts with that yarn as well.
