Rabalder

Rabalder  is one of 16 designs in  Åsa Tricosa Ziggurats: 16 elegantly seamless knits

(available from Shephardess & other stockists)

Rabalder features a lush oversized brioche cowl. With matching folded cuffs it is a warm hug of a jumper.

Outlaw Yarn Bohemia Worsted is a luxurious natural fibre blend, which provides just the right drape and a dreamy halo, especially when, as here, it is knit at an aran gauge. With a two-colour cowl and cuffs, the relaxed shaping and optional bust darts give this pullover an elegantly casual silhouette, and features a small pocket for tiny treasures.

As a knitting experience Rabalder is the perfect balance of meditative stocking stitch and thoughtful detail.

For blustery days, the green Rabalder has been knit in no-nonsense Pirkkalanka wool on larger needles.
For a more understated look, the cowl and cuffs are knit with just one colour in a structured textured rib. This slightly shorter pullover also has plain sleeve caps without the usual slipped-stitch faux seam. The small coin pocket makes yet another appearance here, as does a contrasting lined hem.
