Dainty Faery
Dainty Faery is an elegant wisp of a pullover with a small gather at centre back for added ease.

There is a twisted stitch triangle detail at the neck and also on the cuff – simple adornments for a simple and elegant pullover.
The sample in size 40 is knitted with precisely (or just under) 3 skeins, for that is what I had! (The yardage estimates are, as always, higher to account for varying gauge and the way we all knit differently – and all such estimates are calculated with a margin so that you won’t run out of yarn. But you can be brave and try to wing it. If you finish the sleeves before finishing the body in order to make your yarn stretch.)
This is a deep stash knit designed with one of my favourite yarn bases – it is available from several dyers, including Dibadu (Curly Silk), DyeForYarn (MoFluff), FiberPassion and Fyberspates (its new Faery Wings in 50g-skeins).
Dainty Faery was knitted with the original hand-dyed Faery Wings.
It is also modelled by one of my favourite people: Lizzi!
In one of my favourite places: Edinburgh.
And just around the corner from Ginger Twist Studio, one of my favourite dyers (and the cutest little yarn shop in the world).
My love for Faery Wings goes all the way back to when I fell out of philosophy and back into obsessive knitting. The original Simple Ziggurat was indeed designed for and knitted with this yarn base. Here, I have chosen to knit it into a slightly tighter fabric (as also on Verdite) – it still drapes gorgeously but will also keep its shape well.

Hi I have the dainty faery pattern. I do a lot of knitting but can’t get my head around box A ,B etc. Can you advise please
Hello there!
My advice is to post in the Åsa Tricosa Ravelry group for friendly and helpful guidance. You may want to speficy what it is your head is not going around. 😉 In short: the boxes are template or sample rows. Your size will have direction to work a specific number repeat of Rows (1&2, 1&4, 3&2…or whatever is indicated). To work the indicated rows you refer to the BOX to see how that particular row (1, 2, 5…) is to be executed. Hope that helps!
